Musikmesse Navigator – the app for Musikmesse

The Musikmesse App is now available for iPhones and Android smartphones and offers visitors a variety of options for making their visit to Musikmesse even more efficient. With news and the integrated Musikmesse Twitter channel for real-time bulletins, users can be sure of being well informed at all times during the fair. With the aid of the hall plan, they can find out where they are at any time and the route they should take to get to their destination.


AUDIOSURF 2012: Backstage PRO presents the official Musikmesse sampler

Together with Musikmesse Frankfurt, Backstage PRO, the business-network for the music scene, will be releasing the AUDIOSURF 2012 sampler. As in previous years, 5,000 copies of the sampler will be distributed free of charge to interested Musikmesse visitors. A further 10,000 copies are available as inserts to Issue 228 of the VISIONS music magazine. The aim is to encourage active support for newcomer bands and musicians and to promote young talents.

ConBrio stage programme

The ConBrio publishing company brings together important representatives of the German music scene at its stand at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt and, with them, will present compact, informative and entertaining discussions with artists, authors, politicians, publishers and other interesting players from the music sector in the nmz TV Studio. A variety of musical interludes will round off the programme, which will be held in Hall 3.1 (stand C 53) from Wednesday, 21 March, to Saturday, 24 March.

The Musikmesse Vintage Show at Musikmesse 2012

The Musikmesse Vintage Show at Musikmesse 2012 presents rare and extraordinary musical instruments, equipment and memorabilia. The special exhibition is located among national and international manufacturers of guitars, basses and accessories in Hall 4.1.


NAMM Musikmesse Russia 16-19 May 2012, Moscow, Expocenter

New show in Russia is in the focus of attention for the key players of the industry. Dozens of manufacturers and distributors of major music product brands have already confirmed their exhibit space and attendance at the premier of NAMM Musikmesse Russia, which will be held in Moscow for the first time in May 2012.


PRG Live Entertainment Award 2012

The conferral of the PRG Live Entertainment Award 2012 on 20 March in the Frankfurt Festhalle marks the official opening of the International Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound. The stars and guests at the Live Entertainment Award 2012 include David Garrett, Lena Meyer-Landrut, John Miles, Tim Bendzko, Silbermond, Smudo, Frida Gold, The BossHoss and Helene Fischer.


Greater emphasis on production, broadcasting and recording at Musikmesse

To be held concurrently from 21 to 24 March 2012, the Prolight + Sound and Musikmesse fairs both cover the production, broadcasting and recording segments. To help visitors find their way around, the 240 production, broadcasting and recording exhibitors will be listed with their hall and stand numbers in a printed ‘Quickfinder’. Additionally, the online exhibitor search engine now also includes a filter that permits exhibitors from these segments to be located quickly and easily.
