Admission tickets to the Musikmesse also entitle holders to visit the Prolight + Sound. Tickets to Musikmesse can also be used as tickets for local public transport operated by the regional trans-port authority, Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund - (RMV).

The biggest Musikmesse stage: the Agora Stage with 68 concerts on four days

The main stage during Musikmesse is a marquee on the Agora outdoor area of the Exhibition Centre. Altogether, around 70 musicians and bands will perform at the Agora Stage during the fair. With two stages, each with 200 square metres, and covering 2,000 square metres, the Agora Stage marquee provides a setting similar to big live-entertainment locations. During Musikmesse, around 10,000 visitors a day attend the concerts there.

First German Pianist Award

The International Piano Forum will present the first German Pianist Award at the ‘Alter Oper’ in Frankfurt am Main on 8 April 2011. The award, which will be given during a concert given by the winner, is worth € 20,000 and includes other valuable benefits not only for the winner but also for all nominees. They include performance opportunities, contacts to orchestras, concert promoters and record labels and access to high-quality sheet music.

More than 300 concerts on the Musikmesse stages and in the city centre will turn Frankfurt into the world’s most musical city. A first and major attraction is the Agora Stage where national and international stars will give concerts at half-hourly intervals. Although sound levels at the Acoustic Stage (Hall 3. Via, Room ’Facette‘) are more muted, the guests are certainly no less prominent. Live on the PRG LEA stage, the Musikmesse Music Award will presented.

SAE alumniTV and Blog straight from Musikmesse 2011

As official Musikmesse Cooperation Partner, the renowned SAE INSTITUTE will once again report on topical issues and new products at this year’s Musikmesse. With two student film teams supervised by SAE director, Jan Bertisch, the international information supplier for audio, film, web, games and journalism will produce 14 video reports a day in the new ’SAE alumniTV‘ format.

Musikmesse Shuttle Service with Autohaus BMW Euler

As in previous years, Autohaus BMW Euler will provide the VIP Shuttle Service at Musikmesse 2011. Stars and starlets will be taken to and from the fair in Minis, which fit in perfectly with the Musikmesse image. The Shuttle Service Point is located immediately next to the Agora Stage, opposite Hall 4.
