| DJ Tools Award 2010 |
Germany’s first award for DJ equipment. During the international Musikmesse Frankfurt 2010, Musikmesse and Elevator present the first award for DJ equipment in Germany – the DJ Tools Award. The winners will be selected by a prominent jury on the Musikmesse Public Day (Saturday, 27 March 2010). The preliminary round is in full swing.
Technically speaking, this is an extremely interesting time for the DJ community, if not the most exciting phase in its history because, thanks to the digital revolution, the possibilities open to DJs have never been as great as they are today. Manufacturers of DJ equipment and DJ software are competing fiercely with each other via product innovations and functionality. The modern DJ is confronted by an unparalleled range of products and, therefore, opportunities for his or her DJ set. To help DJs find what they need from the mass of new products, the time has come to single out the best products for a special distinction.
To this end, the most popular DJ products from various categories are presented to a jury of experts. After the judges have made a preliminary selection of max. six products per category, it is time for you to voice your opinion.
You can vote for your favourites online from 20 January 2010 to 15 March 2010. Then, on the Public Day of the Musikmesse (Saturday, 27 March 2010), the three products per category with the most votes will be presented to our jury in exciting live demonstrations and the winning products selected for each of the various categories.
