NP Drums – Drums and Percussion from Spain

The Nova Percusió S.L. company from Valencia in Spain is one of the Spanish pioneers of percussion instrument manufacture. Managing Director, Juan Jose "Pepe" González Alcacer, has been a figure in the market place for more than 25 years. He originally founded the marketing company Gonalca S.L., and has now been manufacturing his own brand, NP Drums, for more than 20 years. For the last 17 years he has been a regular exhibitor with his own stand at Musikmesse.
In the manufacture of their drums, NP Drums are completely committed to fine hardwoods, unusual finishes and hardware. The company makes every effort to manufacture as many parts as possible themselves. So, for instance, in the case of the snare drums all the parts, down to the throw-off, the butt-end, the wires and the tension rods and drumheads are manufactured in Spain. Products range from complete drum sets to Brazilian percussion instruments, cajon drums, folk percussion instruments, Irish drums and percussion instruments for marching bands as well as conventional kettle drums and many others.
