Following the completion of the new Hall 11, Prolight + Sound will also move into the new building. In Room ‘Granat’ of Hall 11, the Prolight + Sound Forum will offer practical knowledge in a programme of workshops and seminars compiled by the Professional Lighting & Sound Association of Germany (VPLT). From 11.00 to 18.00 hrs, professionals from the sector will provide information about the latest standards in the fields of security, technical solutions and training.

Currently the largest 360° full HD projection in the dome tent at Prolight +Sound
|
Visitors to the trade fair, Prolight+Sound, will be treated to a fantastic show presenting the largest 360° full HD projection to date. The sense of space, coupled with interactive moving images allows the viewer to become one with the space. High-resolution projections on a gigantic domed screen await visitors, with animated characters who address them directly. The projection will be on display in a domed tent from the German company, Domzelt.

Prolight + Sound now active in Facebook

Prolight + Sound is expanding its activities in the online segment and now has its own pages in Facebook and XING. Previously, on the occasion of Prolight + Sound 2009, there was a group in the XING business platform that exchanged ideas and opinions about event technology, media technology, systems integration and the fair itself. In addition to the XING group, which was used at Prolight + Sound 2009, this year’s Prolight + Sound is launching its own presentation in Facebook.
