The recent 15FX560 is a 15” woofer with superior nominal power 700W, (max. 1400W), high efficiency, 99 dB (1W@1m ) and frequency range of 40-4000 Hz.

It has a very powerful magnetic motor, a new die-cast aluminum basket for optimal thermal dissipation and cooling circuit for the neodymium magnet assembly.
The cone coating guarantees a stylishly functional appeal and helps minimize the already very low break-up of the diaphragm.
The diaphragm profile ensures an excellent structural stability and the 3” voice coil allows for a linear excursion next to +/-10mm (max. mechanical excursion over +/-20mm).
Everything was studied purposely to minimize and control the DC-Offset of the moving assembly; the distortion levels are much lower compared to any competitor - in the entire usable frequency range.
Excellent in the reproduction of a vocal range, becomes wonderfully crystalline, with great results in THD control.
The 15FX560 can easily be used up to 2 KHz, coupled directly with a 1,4” compression driver.

FaitalPRO HF144 and HF204 new compression drivers
The new HF144 is a compression driver from FaitalPRO: 65mm (2.5”) voice coil, 1.4” mouth, a Ketone Polymer dome diaphragm, 80W nominal power (RMS) and a 160W maximum.
It has an innovative annular phase plug equipped with four slots which improves performance in the high frequencies.
The magnet assembly is based on neodymium slugs, that translate to convenient cost advantages while guaranteeing final performance.
The new HF144 driver demonstrates very high efficiency, with dynamic range of 110 dB (1W/1m) and the frequency response from 0.7÷18 kHz.
The extended response up to 18kHz and the minimum crossover frequency advised, equal to 900Hz, make it universally suited for use in two-way or three-way acoustic systems and enclosures.
The polymer diaphragm is very light, dampened, and works to positively characterize the resonance, making its sound less aggressive.
HF204
A second version of this driver exists, called the “HF204”, created with a 2” exit, that allows matching this driver to an appropriate 2” horn.
Also equipped with a Ketone-Polymer diaphragm and an innovative annular phase plug, it withstands 80 W nominal power, efficiency of 109 dB (1W@1m) and frequency range that extends slightly lower, from 500 Hz to18 kHz.

prolight+sound, 24 – 27 March 2010 – Audio specialist manufacturer, TOA has launched the D-2000 series all-in-one digital mixing system that combines the functions of auto mixing, matrix switching, and signal processing.
While the system’s table-mounted remote console unit boasts an exceptionally small footprint, the D-2000 can be expanded to comprise up to four rack processing units for a total of up to 128 audio inputs and outputs.
CobraNet® compatibility means the processing modules can be connected to a LAN for remote operation. The D-2000 also provides interfaces directly with AMX and Crestron control protocols so that it can be smoothly integrated into multimedia conferencing and presentation systems.
In creating the perfect sound environment, TOA has incorporated auto-mixing features, highly effective feedback suppression and audio processing into the D-2000 series.
A wide range of input, output and control modules is available for each rack-mount processing unit, including mono or stereo analogue microphone inputs, analogue and digital inputs and outputs, and VCA modules for connection to an optional VCA control unit. It comes with 32 preset memories for user convenience and an easy to use interactive graphical user interface (GUI). Because of its modular design, users are able to create a configuration suited to their specific needs. The 24-bus matrix allows an entirely flexible input-to-output signal routing for zoning or room combining as needed.

The master control port runs via RS-232 and easily connects to third-party control systems (AMX„¥, Crestron„¥, etc.) for complete access to the internal functions of the UXHD CrossPoint. In addition, a Reference input for Gen Lock is available for synchronizing the SDI output to an external switcher.
UXHD CrossPoint can also be used as a signal converter with a loop-thru output. In this scenario, an SDI or analog signal can be connected to the appropriate input, and the outputs can be analog, as well as an SDI output ¡V one input, two outputs. In addition, the input on both outputs can be up- or down-converted to resolutions different from the input signals¡¦ native resolution.

Event technicians manage daily the majority of small and medium jobs with mini vans like Sprinter, Ducato or Jumper. Therefore ProCase has a new flightcase line developed, which is optimised for transport in mini vans.
Until now, with the usual LKW pack size format, exists the problem, that only two of the 60 cm cases fit in the mini van side by side. The remaining free space can`t be loaded efficiently. The new Sprinter format is a little bit smaller. Now 3 cases fit exactly side by side. Additionally the new sprinter cases are lighter and take account of the limited cargo capacity of vans. The 2-channel amplifier DA 230 with a power output of 1.500 W per channel is equipped with comprehensive DSP features like matrix router, 6 fully parametric equalizers two crossover networks, delay and dynamic processor per channel. Factory and user presets may of cause be stored inside the unit, an SD- card reader is implemented and can be used to easily transfer preset and system information to other units.
All parameters as well as user navigation can be managed using a simple 5-key navigation pad together with 4 rotary encoders. The sophisticated user interface is completed by a graphic LCD display and 4 RGB LEDs informing about relevant operation parameters and state of the single channels.
On the inputs side are two analogue or one digital XLR connectors which can also be used mixed. Link sockets, either carrying the signal applied to the inputs can be routed as >processed< digital outputs. Two Neutrik Speakon sockets ensure the connection to the speaker systems.
The designers also implemented a module slot for future updates, i.e. connections to audio / control networks, standard- fitted with module RSNC equipped with a RS232 connector and a 'normally closed' contact feature. Important features are also the PFC controlled, audio- optimized wide-range switched- mode power supply of the last generation and an absolutely quite “low-noise” fan.
An extensive set of protective circuits short circuit, DC on output, impedance undercut and digital monitoring functions like log book with using and power hour meter are included ''rounding off'' the professional features of this equipment.
Its application scope lasts from monitor- over the use in passive components to the realization of multi-channel systems within sound installations. The DA 230 is mainly intended for the amplification of more powerful reinforcement components.
By the optional available PC software Preset-Editor you can create own presets on your computer. This KME preset files can be saved on an SD card and later transfered to both digital amplifiers DA 428 and DA 230.

Draper Scissor Lift at ProLight + Sound
SPICELAND< IN)-Draper’s Scissor Lift retracts your projector to ceiling level or above then lowers it to projection and service positions-much like other motorized lifts-up to 518 cm.
However, Draper’s patented design features scissors on the left, right and back sides to stabilize the projector from any sway, both laterally and front–to–back, which can be a problem in two-scissor lifts.
A metal chain drive system provides reliability and lifting strength, and Draper’s fail-safe inertial safety belt system provides peace of mind.
Options including Environmental Airspace Housing, ceiling closure panels, ceiling finish kit, factory installed cables and various control options also make the Draper Scissor Lift a good choice for almost any need.

Based on its 32-year experience on manufacturing lighting management and control systems, ELECTRON SA designs, develops and manufactures a wide range of LED Converters and Boosters for LEDs. The NEW series of DMX Dimmable LED Converters offer new technical features, such as stand alone mode of one of the four preset programs available, with selection of fade, rate and dimmer of the output intensity from the DIP Switches. Alternatively, there is the capability of selecting a stable colour from a palette of 64 colours, from the DIP Switches. The NEW LED Driving Boosters are one-channel LED devices (Repeaters Amplifiers) that enhance the signal of a LED controller so that this controller can drive LED fittings of higher power consumption than the power that the LED controller can originally drive.
