required documents. After the exchange of personal identification information,

takes charge of the examination of all the documents and stamps them with a
validity status. Upon request, the self-employed worker can also receive a
certificate in which the testing of his/her documents has been confirmed by
CrewCheck. However, this certificate only has a short shelf life as it is subject
to documents remaining legitimate. This can be viewed and verified by
personal customers at CrewCheck.org-ID at any time.

MAGIC SP2 Downmix System
AVT shows its new MAGIC SP2 which provides an automatic downmix of 5.1 surround signals to Stereo signals. The MAGIC SP2 uses a new downmix algorithm developed by the „Institut für Rundfunktechnik“ (IRT) in Munich. This algorithm avoids distracting effects, which have been sometimes caused by other downmix methods so far, or compensates them very effectively. Additionally, the ITU-R BS.775 downmix standard is also supported. For consideration of artistic aspects different presets (e.g. classic, radio drama etc.) are available. The system has a configurable delay element for the adjustment to different applications (e.g. for lip synchronisation at the TV). MAGIC SP2 provides three digital AES3 Audio interfaces for the input of the 5.1 multi channel sound which are additionally looped through to three digital AES3 outputs for further usage. The output of the stereo downmix sound signal is available at the analogue XLR Audio interfaces or - to guarantee optimum quality - at a digital AES3 interface. For monitoring the Audio signals you can connect headphones at the front side of the unit. For integrating in a network management system the SNMP function can be used.

MAGIC TH6 Telephone Hybrid
The new digital telephone hybrid MAGIC TH6 incorporates six POTS line interfaces, two analogue Audio interfaces and four digital Audio interfaces. As an option MAGIC TH6 can run as a VoIP Telephone Hybrid using the LAN interface as line interface.
All six callers can be put on separate Audio lines for the connection to the mixing console if required. To guarantee optimum speech quality an independent digital Echo Canceller, an Automatic Gain Control and an Expander are available for each caller line. The Audio lines of the MAGIC TH6 Telephone Hybrid can also be assigned with PRETALK, HOLD and ON AIR status. Callers can be switched in PRETALK and ON AIR conferences. Another interesting feature of the system is the configuration of a stored or an external HOLD signal. Furthermore, MAGIC TH6 allows call forwarding to other destinations. The system can be controlled and configured via a user-friendly Windows PC Software. In addition to six GPIO contacts, four relays and two RS232 interfaces can be used for system operation. The MAGIC TH6 Keypad allows an external control of the system.

The COLORado Batten 72 Tour is a 39-inch long linear wash fixture equipped with 72 1W RGBWA LEDs that are divided into three blocks. A member of the new COLORado Tour series of high performing luminaires, the COLORado Batten 72 Tour is designed with added and improved features for theatrical, touring or installations.

The Line Dancer LED
The Line Dancer LED jump-starts the party with wildly rotating and crisscrossing lines of red, green and blue light that are individually controllable.
This fixture is an updated LED version of the popular Line Dancer and produces a similar effect, including strobe. However, the Line Dancer LED runs much cooler and continuously (no duty cycles needed) and weighs much less than its predecessor. The fixture’s 72 RGB LEDs produce razor-sharp beams of light that constantly change and fill the dance floor thanks to its 70-degree beam angle.

(SPICELAND, INDIANA)-Draper, Inc., has announced a name change for one of its European subsidiaries. Bjurab Sweden AB, of Halmstad, Sweden, will now be known as Draper Europe AB.
“The relationship between Draper and Bjurab was such that it became apparent the differences between the two organizations were minimal,” according to Draper President John Pidgeon. “We saw greater opportunities for success if we worked more closely together as one organization.”

The new FaitalPRO 3FE20 is born with the precise intention of outclassing the performance of its peers in the same category.
A Full Range, three inch, 80 mm, loudspeaker with a basket in pressed steel, an outer ring neodymium magnet assembly boasting superior magnetic performance, 91 dB efficiency, a total weight slightly over two hundred grams and optimum features, such as very ample frequency extension and an elevated dynamic behaviour.

FaitalPRO launches the new “15XL1400”, 15” subwoofer.
A pure sub that uses the same magnet assembly and suspensions – the double spider and cone surround – of the renowned “18XL1500” sub-woofer.
The new 15XL1400 can reach 1400 W of nominal power, a real subwoofer to use on the same level as the 18XL1500 but in an enclosure of smaller volume, tuned to a slightly higher frequency: it is a very specific sub, performing very well, with same mechanical excursion as the 18”XL, in a slightly smaller form.
This new woofer was introduced to respond to the needs of an ever increasing number of clients that required a special performance “in a small package” 15” sub.
The15XL1400 is very versatile because, with regard to electrical parameters, it proves to be a relatively easy to use FaitalPRO product, not requiring particular attention in the project stage.
The Qt is not very low, around 0,33, allowing the use of the loudspeaker also in front loaded reflex cases.
The new 15XL1400 it is really the smaller “twin” of the 18XL1500, just smaller and with a lighter moving mass.
The overall weight is close to that of its older brother, because it has the same magnet assembly, voice coil and spiders, while - obviously – performance changes at slightly higher frequencies.

The new HF144 is a compression driver from FaitalPRO: 65mm (2.5”) voice coil, 1.4” mouth, a Ketone Polymer dome diaphragm, 80W nominal power (RMS) and a 160W maximum.
It has an innovative annular phase plug equipped with four slots which improves performance in the high frequencies.
The magnet assembly is based on neodymium slugs, that translate to convenient cost advantages while guaranteeing final performance.
The new HF144 driver demonstrates very high efficiency, with dynamic range of 110 dB (1W/1m) and the frequency response from 0.7÷18 kHz.
The extended response up to 18kHz and the minimum crossover frequency advised, equal to 900Hz, make it universally suited for use in two-way or three-way acoustic systems and enclosures.
The polymer diaphragm is very light, dampened, and works to positively characterize the resonance, making its sound less aggressive.
HF204
A second version of this driver exists, called the “HF204”, created with a 2” exit, that allows matching this driver to an appropriate 2” horn.
Also equipped with a Ketone-Polymer diaphragm and an innovative annular phase plug, it withstands 80 W nominal power, efficiency of 109 dB (1W@1m) and frequency range that extends slightly lower, from 500 Hz to18 kHz.

The Showtec Quanta W4500 Tour Zoom is the long awaited LED version of the traditional halogen Fresnel.
The Quanta W4500 is equipped with 12 Cool White and 36 Warm White High Power LEDs, with a CRI of ±73 and ±92. These, in total, 48 LEDs generate a light output of 9500 Lux at 2 meters. By means of a dimmer this spot is fully dimmable and the color temperature can be adjusted as well. Further the Quanta W4500 has a Dim4 Dimming Curve which is comparable with the curve of a traditional Halogen bulb. On top if this the Quanta W4500 is also equipped with a DMX controllable 8 to 38 degrees zoom function.

The 2-channel amplifier DA 230 with a power output of 1.500 W per channel is equipped with comprehensive DSP features like matrix router, 6 fully parametric equalizers two crossover networks, delay and dynamic processor per channel. Factory and user presets may of cause be stored inside the unit, an SD- card reader is implemented and can be used to easily transfer preset and system information to other units.
All parameters as well as user navigation can be managed using a simple 5-key navigation pad together with 4 rotary encoders. The sophisticated user interface is completed by a graphic LCD display and 4 RGB LEDs informing about relevant operation parameters and state of the single channels.
On the inputs side are two analogue or one digital XLR connectors which can also be used mixed. Link sockets, either carrying the signal applied to the inputs can be routed as >processed< digital outputs. Two Neutrik Speakon sockets ensure the connection to the speaker systems.
The designers also implemented a module slot for future updates, i.e. connections to audio / control networks, standard- fitted with module RSNC equipped with a RS232 connector and a 'normally closed' contact feature. Important features are also the PFC controlled, audio- optimized wide-range switched- mode power supply of the last generation and an absolutely quite “low-noise” fan.
An extensive set of protective circuits short circuit, DC on output, impedance undercut and digital monitoring functions like log book with using and power hour meter are included ''rounding off'' the professional features of this equipment.
Its application scope lasts from monitor- over the use in passive components to the realization of multi-channel systems within sound installations. The DA 230 is mainly intended for the amplification of more powerful reinforcement components.
By the optional available PC software Preset-Editor you can create own presets on your computer. This KME preset files can be saved on an SD card and later transfered to both digital amplifiers DA 428 and DA 230.

With its redesign Lawo has improved the excellent features of the mc²66 even more: functionality, DSP power, ergonomic operation, flexibility and reliability.
The new router offers a capacity of 8000 x 8000 crosspoints and a fully integrated control system which can be designed with redundancies according to the production requirements, offering a maximum of reliability. The control unit for the operating console is placed on the redundantly designable router board, so that the redundant control system can be replaced during runtime.
The mc²66 redundancy concept offers a completely redundant signal path – from the stage box through the DSP channel to the output. Depending on the requirements customers can choose their own level of redundancy and work with different redundancy grades in their configuration.

V4.8 SW release with innovative functions
A new interface for the mc²-series and the Nova73 HD-systems, available since January, allows for an even faster and more flexible workflow. In addition to a new design, the 4.8 release also makes its mark with innovative networking possibilities and individual configurations.
The new channel display features additional colour and textural information for the VCA and Link displays. In addition, due to a complete redesign, it is now possible to interconnect any number of channels, even with an almost unlimited number of link groups.
The same method of differentiating with colours is now also available for VCA slaves. In addition to a permanent link group, a temporary link of multiple channels can be created using the Couple function, allowing for the quick adjustment of all of the grouped channels’ parameters.
Additional templates for the creation of individual configurations have also been included in the V4.8 release. The user can now independently change the function of user buttons on the fader, and select them to the N-1, Audio Follow Video, or Left to Both/Right to Both functions.

In the end of 2009, after a 2-year-long research and development, we made it possible to extend the quality of nettle material.
With a yarn of permanent flame-resistant Polyester we were able to expand all kinds of nettle (70-300gr) quality.
In price this product line ranks below in the market confessed
constantly to hardly inflammable materials.
2.) In the whole area of molton material we also discovered some new creations. Eco-Molton finally fills the 300 gr. gap!
Our stage-molton (also known as a 300gr. material) is actually effectivly calculated with a colour-dependent weight of 330-340 grammes and is always lightly before other stage-molton-qualities, in the direct technical high-class comparison of the market.
The new ECO-Molton is an alternative product to the normal material of stage-molton.

Free XL2 Update with Scope Function
The new XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer perfectly suits the challenging measurements in live sound, installed sound and environmental noise applications. The comprehensive range of measurement functions has been extended with new firmware V1.12. Besides wav-file logging the XL2 Analyzer now also offers voice note recording, a scope function, automated user calibration and many more features. All customers may upgrade their XL2s for free now.
The XL2 firmware 1.12 adds a variety of new features, which are especially advantageous for regulatory live sound or environmental noise monitoring applications. Now the XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer records voice notes and wav-files for a complete documentation of the measured sound. All audio files and logged level data are available for upload to the computer. The recorded wav-files may then be replayed later, for instance to determine any predominant components of the sound source or to post process the stored measurement data.
Automated User Calibration
The NTi Audio measurement microphones M4260 and M2210 include an electronic data sheet, thus the XL2 recognizes the factory-entered sensitivity of these microphones automatically. The new XL2 features add an automated user calibration from an external precision sound calibrator. This allows accurate sensitivity verification before any sound level measurement. During the user calibration the XL2 writes the measured sensitivity additionally onto the electronic data sheet of the M4260 or M2210 itself, so all later measurements utilize the user sensitivity.
Scope with Auto Detect Function
The new scope function displays the wave form of the electrical input signal. It is extremely useful in all kinds of troubleshooting and service tasks, for instance allowing you to visually monitor the measured sine input signal. The scope auto-ranges to the proper scale and then triggers on the fundamental frequency automatically.
Further new XL2 features include an extended polarity measurement for subwoofers in the frequency range below 100 Hz, an automated FFT measurement reports generator, various additional sound level values, and a user defined limit indication for sound levels.

XL2 Analyzer records high-resolution Wav-files with EAP-Option
The XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer now records linear, high-resolution wav-files in 24 Bit / 48 kHz resolution with the optional Extended Acoustic Pack (EAP). At the same time the XL2 measures the sound levels of the monitored live sound or environmental noise, thus audio and level data are stored simultaneously on the Mini-SD-Card. This ideally suits acousticians for further post processing or detailed analysis on the computer.
The high-resolution wav-file recording of the XL2 Analyzer is especially an advantage for environmental noise monitoring. The XL2 logs the actual sound levels and also records the wav-file together on the Mini-SD-Card. All data may be quickly transferred to a third party wav-file editor or post processing software via the USB interface or directly from a card reader. The wav-file format is mono, 24 Bit resolution with 48 kHz sampling rate. The post processing with third party editing software on the computer allows removing segments of unwanted sound sources from the logged audio data and calculates the required sound level results. These post-processed results may be compared with the various simultaneously stored measurement results of the XL2 Analyzer. The XL2 logs all sound levels in A, C, Z weighting at once. Together with the optional Extended Acoustic Pack also the percentile statistics are available.
Live Sound monitoring with ADPCM Wav-files
For applications not requiring the linearity of 24 Bit / 48 kHz resolution, or where it is desirable to minimize file size, the basic XL2 Analyzer already generates ADPCM compressed wav-files. These are typically used for monitoring of live sound events or for violation logging in community sound measurements. For example suppose that an excessive sound level of 115 dBA has been measured at a live event, but perhaps this sound level has actually been caused by people shouting close to the measurement microphone: Examination of the recorded wav-file and logged test results from the XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer will show that the actual normal sound level was below the maximum permitted sound level of e.g. 99 dBA throughout the event. The XL2 Analyzer generates all data for later verifications, thus simplifying monitoring of live sound events.

NTi Audio presents High-Resolution Polar Plot Measurement
The professional NTi Audio microphone measurement system has been extended with a high-resolution polar plot feature. The newly developed NTi Audio precision turntable enables fully automated measurement of the microphone’s directional response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in arbitrary resolution.
The polar plot analysis with the NTi Audio turntable complements the microphone measurement system to an all-in-one test solution for development, production and maintenance of microphones. The NTi Audio Microphone Test System provides a complete set of measurements, paired with individual tolerances for the total quality control of individual microphone components or final products, such as mobile phones, vocal microphones or headsets.
All-in-one Microphone Test Solution
The NTi Audio microphone test system includes the high-speed RT-2M audio analyzer and a sophisticated software platform “RT-Microphone”. Further accessories, such as reference microphones, reference speaker, automation interfaces and the newly developed turntable complete the test solution. It offers the measurement functions: Frequency response, sensitivity, distortion, signal-to-noise ratio, polarity, directivity and polar plot. Additionally the PureSound measurement detects any audible mechanical imperfections of the microphone.
Polar Plot in Practice
The polar diagram displays the directional characteristic related to the measurement frequency of the microphone. In practice the microphone is mounted on the USB controlled turntable. The adjustable mount allows placing the microphone capsule exactly in the center point of the turntable during the measurement. The measurement resolution and frequencies to be displayed in the polar plot can be set in the controlling RT-Microphone software. For detailed analysis, the measurement angles might be set in arbitrary resolution less than 1°. Pressing the GO button starts the fully automated polar measurements. The high-speed audio analyzer generates a series of fast sweep signals, covering the complete audio band from 20 Hz – 20 kHz, and turns the microphone to the configured angles between the sweeps. The measurement time halves by choosing the 180° mode, which mirrors the polar image. Customers may add further frequencies to be shown on the polar diagram even after the completed measurement and set the diagram scaling and data smoothing. The polar plot analysis with the NTi Audio turntable complements the microphone measurement system to an all-in-one solution for development, production and maintenance of microphones.

New extensions for MK-012 modular system

One Systems Introduces 112IM 12-Inch Sub

Its grille uses a 3-layer “rain shield” design that greatly minimizes direct rain contact with the system’s transducer. The DVA-102ETH is an Ethernet controlled messages player and permits to link Optimax system with the other analog systems from Optimus including UMX-02 family.
It can have a huge library of pre-recorded messages, in wav format only, stored either in a standard Hard Disk or in a Compaq flash memory card. Its Ethernet link is redundant for security purposes.

PM-712/0
The PM-712/0 model is a modular circuitry mainframe, with capacity for up to 12 cards and which features 2 internal audio channels: a priority one, for pagings, and a program one, for music sources. Both channels are of 0 dB level and 600 Ohms impedance. The PM-712/0 frame has 12 empty slots to house up to 12 electronic modules.
The different card models –microphone, music source, telephone interface, pre-recorded messages …- inserted in the frame, send the already pre-amplified audio signal to one of the 2 channels. The channel assigning as well as some other parameters can be made externally, through micro-switches. The program channel combines all the signals coming from the cards which have the corresponding assignation.
The priority channel accepts only one signal each time; in case this channel is activated by 2 or more modules, then the PM-712/0 only lets out the signal emitted by the module inserted first in the chassis (Cascade priority).
It is possible to link several PM-712/0 to increase the number of audio inputs.
It is also possible to make independent some modules inside one same chassis by means of the C-710LE and C-710LS cards.

The SU-114N and SU-214/0N represent the new generation of amplifiers, lines and critical path surveillance units. The SU-114N has been specifically designed to work with the UP Series 6 and 7 power units, allowing an extremely simple connection between them, via a single dedicated RJ-45 surveillance connector. This compact unit comes ready to control up to 14 different amplifiers and loudspeakers lines.
The SU-214/0N mainframe can work with any other model of our amplifiers and power units and requires the addition of the SU-LAC cards, one for each amplifier and loudspeaker line to be monitorized. It has the capacity to accommodate up to 14 cards.
These Surveillance Units use high frequency tones to detect loudspeakers line open circuit, overload or short-circuit. Besides the loudspeakers line status, the SU-114N and SU-214/0N can also make the surveillance of the whole Critical Signal Path, from the microphone capsule up to the loudspeakers, as required by the EN-60849 Standard.
These modules can be combined with the COU-02, Automatic Changeover to backup amplifier, activating the replacement of the faulty unit for a stand-by one.

Kreios G, the new LED luminaire by OSRAM, offers spectacular effects and texts of light. It is the first LED module suitable for use in gobo projectors. Kreios G replaces the traditionally used 50W halogen luminaires and impresses with its high light output, long durability and small dimensions.
With Kreios G, OSRAM provides luminaire manufacturers with an efficient luminaire based LED. The LED luminaire consists of the LED light source, the heat-sink and the control gear. Thus, it is particularly easy to integrate into existing designs. In addition, thanks to its small size and its low weight, it provides new creative freedom in the design of gobo projectors.
Kreios G has a light output of 600lm and is therefore ideal for numerous applications of projectors in spot lighting and special effect lighting. In contrast to conventional light solutions due to the LED lights’ long durability, the light source in a gobo projector will only need to be changed seldomly. Combined with the savings in energy costs, operating costs can be significantly reduced. The higher initial investment into the LED solution pays off during the term of usage (total cost of ownership).

A D-Sub25-pin-AES/EBU-Output terminal is included in each device (AD8 and the AD8 plus), as well as a BNC connection for word clock input and output and a ADAT interface. Via both digital interfaces the input signal can be digitally split (after gain) and used for FOH, monitoring or recording at the same time. The S-0808 Digital Snake is an 8in/8out compact, lightweight digital snake that supports multiple power options including battery-power, embedded-powered over REAC and power over Ethernet (PoE). The inputs offer remote controllable preamps, phantom-power, 24-bit 96kHz A/D conversion as well as choices of XLR, TRS line and even Hi-Z capability to reduce the need for direct boxes.
The versatility in power and input choices make the S-0808 ideal for location sound, festivals, stage boxes, remote broadcasting and other portable applications.
Transfer both audio and power over Cat5e cable using the RSS S-4000D Splitter and Power Distributor or the newly announced S-4000M REAC Merge Unit. Roland Systems Group Introduces REAC Merge Technology for the Digital Snake and V-Mixing System Lineup
The S-4000M REAC Merge Unit allows up to four Digital Snake heads to be merged into a REAC stream where the master device recognizes it as single REAC slave unit. This important technology enables distribution of multiple input/output units around a location, venue or stage for flexible point-to-point digital snake or V-Mixing System configurations.
Connect any combination of the RSS Digital Snake heads such as the S-4000S, S-1608, S-0816 or S-0808 and merge all the input/output to a single REAC signal. The four ports on the front panel also supply REAC embedded power to compatible devices such as the newly announced S-0808 8x8 I/O Unit.
The intelligent Auto Map function assigns input channels automatically. If the number of inputs connected is greater than the 40 channels allowed by a single REAC stream, choose which inputs go to which channels using the free remote control software (S-4000RCS) or directly using a M-400/M-380 V-Mixer when using as part of a V-Mixing System.
The S-4000M also serves as a distributor of outputs and/or splitter. Any inputs returning from the master (Port A) are distributed to the outputs depending on the devices connected. When S-0808 units are connected, specific output assignments can also be mapped.

New virtual control panel for STAGETEC’s AURATUS
At this year’s prolight+sound show in Frankfurt, the SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP introduces a virtual control panel software to its popular AURATUS digital mixing console. The software simulates additional control panels for the console which are not physically built in.
Getting started is easy: The GUI runs on any standard PC linked via Ethernet to the new TREM controller unit mounted in the console’s frame. Once set-up and running, the GUI simulates all the control ele-ments so operators have full access to every control that is found on the hardware console’s control surface normally–including all metering, fad-ers and encoders! The result is a new found freedom of choice as to how big or small the physical control surface will be and how it will be populated. Even a minimum desktop layout with just eight channel strips, two encoders and some buttons can have the full power of AURATUS in the background! The virtual control panel targets at small Radio and TV station without the need for huge control surfaces in daily live broadcast.

STAGETEC NEXUS with 3G SDI Board
At this year’s prolight+sound SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP presents the new XHDI 02, a plug-in card for the NEXUS audio network. The XHDI 02’s most outstanding feature is compatibility with each and every SDI format. As the various formats differ greatly in data rate, varying from 270 Mbit/s for SD-SDI, 1,5 Gbit/s for HD-SDI and up to 3 Gbit/s for the new 3G-SDI. The latter is required for productions in the 1080p50 (or 1080p60) formats, which are used in the premium broadcast segment and for digital movie production. Both are areas where NEXUS is often to be found at the heart of the audio installation. Like other NEXUS SD-SDI and HD-SDI boards, the XHDI 02 de-embeds, processes and re-embeds all the audio accompanying the video from and to the SDI stream. The board can be equipped with sample-rate converters and is then able to de-embed the audio even from asynchronous video signals and re-embed them again.

LITEC and the new Folding Truss 100
LITEC present in worlwide preview the new Folding Truss 100, with a triangular section in working position and a flat section while being transported. Thanks to its appropriate hinges and foldable braces, the truss combines reduced volume with elevated load capacity performances.

LITEC- New High Load Roof Systems in QL52A trusses
LITEC presents two new High Load roof systems, cheap and easy to set up, supplied with self-extinguishing roof sheets. They consist entirely of aluminium components, and are made up with almost exclusively standard elements.
The first configuration is 14x12m big. It is formed of four MT40 lifters with QL40A main trusses and a load-bearing perimeter ring made with QL52A trusses. The other configuration is 20x14m big. It is formed of six MT40 lifters, also with a perimeter ring made with QL52A trusses. The smaller roof system resists wind speed up to 70 km/h with a 2800kg payload, whilst the bigger one resists wind speed up to 100 km/h with a 14000kg payload.
LITEC proposes the solution of pavilion roofs for both the configurations. The frame propping up the covering sheet consists of strutted rafters that converge towards a peak element from the vertices of the main ring. The implementation of simple-section type profiles help the roofing sheet work in the optimum way to face any forecasted climatic conditions.
The two structures are available with sheets only for the roof or also for three of the four sides. They are provided with suitable complete safety systems and guy ropes for a simple and immediate use.

TOA meets EN-54 European fire alarm standards at prolight+sound
Worldwide launch of EN54 compliant range of speakers and amplifiers, award winning D-2000 series audio mixing system and Type C line array to top the bill at prolight+sound
prolight+sound, 24 – 27 March 2010 – Helping to make audio systems designed for the future, specialist audio manufacturer TOA Europe will reveal their eagerly awaited EN-54 European standard fire alarm audio products at this year’s prolight+sound. TOA is one of the first companies that can offer a complete audio control and speaker system with EN-54 compliance.
The new products that meet EN-54 standards include the VM-3000 series PA/VA system that combines digital audio PA, paging and BGM functionality. In the speaker range, the PC-1867 FC 12-cm flush ceiling mounted speakers and BS-680FC public address speakers are also EN-54 compliant. More compliant products from TOA will be revealed at the show.

TOA D-2000 all-in-one digital mixing system
Also making a show debut, will be the award winning TOA D-2000 system combines the functions of auto mixing, matrix switching, and signal processing. Its table-mounted remote console unit boasts a small footprint and the system can be expanded to comprise up to four rack processing units for a total of up to 128 audio inputs and outputs.
CobraNet® compatibility means the processing modules can be connected to a LAN for remote operation. The D-2000 also provides interfaces directly with AMX and Crestron control protocols so that it can be smoothly integrated into multimedia conferencing and presentation systems.
Phase wavefront control technology for new Type C Line Arrays
The second of TOA’s unveilings, the Type C line array is based on the firm’s phase wavefront control technology for audio clarity and uniform sound dispersion.
The Type C offers a choice of 15-degree and five-degree vertical dispersion angle modules, together with a 15-inch subwoofer enclosure for low-end reinforcement. All three boxes are also available as IPX4-rated splash-proof enclosures. Both mid-high modules use TOA’s proprietary Sync-Drive waveguide design, and can be run in a choice of single or bi-amplified modes, depending on the application requirement.

TOA launches Type C Line Array Speaker Systems
Superior sound reinforcement, clear and accurate dispersion for specific installation areas
prolight+sound, 24 – 27 March 2010 – Another exciting audio product to be revealed from specialist audio manufacturer, TOA, is the new Type C line array speaker systems. Type C will first be revealed to the audio-visual, sound contracting and system integration communities on the TOA Europe stand at Integrated Systems Europe next February 2010.
With Type C, sound reinforcement is precise and directive as elements are smartly designed into the speakers themselves. The system is based on TOA’s phase wavefront control technology for superior audio clarity and uniform sound dispersion thereby focusing the audio on the intended area more accurately. The Type C offers a choice of 15-degree and 5-degree vertical dispersion angle modules, together with a 15-inch subwoofer enclosure for low-end reinforcement. Different modules can be combined together for their intended application where a combination of short- and long-throw coverage is required, while all three boxes are also available as IPX4-rated splash-proof enclosures.

Here, high fidelity sound is produced without causing attenuation of high frequency sound. For applications that require greater output and low frequency sound enhancement, a 2-way multi-amplifier driven speaker system featuring a 30cm low frequency driver and 2 compression drivers is available.

UXHD CrossPoint can also be used as a signal converter with a loop-thru output. In this scenario, an SDI or analog signal can be connected to the appropriate input, and the outputs can be analog, as well as an SDI output ¡V one input, two outputs. “As we ramped up production of the HD-18, a number of customers have asked for a white version,” explained President of Vaddio, Rob Sheeley. “Depending on the project, the Arctic White provides our customers an additional color option.”
Due to popular demand, Vaddio released a white version of the ClearVIEW HD-18. The ClearVIEW HD-18 AW has all the same features and functions as the existing ClearVIEW HD-18 including, a 1/3½, 1.3 megapixel CCD imaging sensor, a glass multi-element wide dynamic zoom lens (18x optical), a tally light and a 1.8-lux rating, providing superior images in a wide range of high-definition video applications.
The ClearVIEW HD-18 cameras are the only multi-format PTZ cameras that deliver component HD in 1080p, 1080i or 720p and simultaneous SD video. Control runs via VISCA command protocol or the IR remote that is supplied. High-torque, micro-stepper precision robotics enhance performance with smooth pan/tilt operation for accurate camera movement and control. The new ClearVIEW HD-18 AW is also available as WallVIEW SR (Short Range) and WallVIEW CCU systems. The SR version provides power to the camera, and component HD video back to the Quick-Connect SR up to 100 feet over a single CAT-5 cable. Both the SR and CCU versions utilize the EZ-Port on the back of the camera, making installation even easier. An additional EZIM card for power and video, plugs into the back of the camera for the CCU system. The Quick-Connect CCU unit provides power, control and video up to 500 feet over CAT-5 cabling to the camera. In addition the CCU allows the user to adjust red and blue gain, pedestal, gamma, chroma, knee, iris and gain on the camera module and allows up to three scene settings to be stored in the CCU.

VIOSO presents its new tool. With VIOSO Presenter, the company offers users more than just safety and error correction and enables them to make the visual quality of their presentation sexier.
VIOSO Presenter enables all file formats to be brought together and showcased easily via drag 'n' drop. The software offers a selection of 3D effects for displaying the content.
VIOSO is capitalising on the lasting positive impression that speakers make in this way. This impression goes far beyond the technological functions that the audience expects as a matter of course.
Often, important content is only received just before the presentation is due or an eureka moment comes just at the last minute. With VIOSO Presenter, it's still possible to create a fantastic presentation even at the last second.

Joint media server by VIOSO and AV Stumpfl
VIOSO and AV Stumpfl present a joint media server: Wings VIOSO.
The core competencies of both companies are combined: AV Stumpfl's media server functionalities and VIOSO's solutions regarding projection adjustments and automatic camera correction.
"We are successful with camera-based projections," explained VIOSO-CEO Benjamin Fritsch. "We were asked for manipulation options for the content. By linking both, we offer a do-it-all package.”
Multi-display projections can be created automatically by the help of a camera attached to the setup. The content is distributed to the projectors, the projection is adjusted to geometry and colours of the background and the soft-edge area is set automatically. Setups which used to be laborious are reduced.
This allows to project onto unusual surfaces, such as brick walls, cubical domes or steplike backgrounds. The well-known user interface from WingsPlatinum is complemented by the versatile correction functionalities of VIOSO technology. The functionalities permit the creation of fascinating shows.
The product is available with a media server. As in previous VIOSO products, this server is able to control four different projectors from only one computer.
